Q. How do I return a book?

Return any item you checked out at BC to any BC library, with the exception of technology items: these should be returned to the library where you checked it out.

Take the item to the main service desk in the library. In O'Neill Library, there is a small window on the left side of the circulation desk to return items; you need not wait for a staff person to become available. If the library is closed or you don't have time to go in, there is a night book drop at O'Neill Library on the first floor (near the bottom of the atrium stairs.)

If you want to return a book that you have *not* checked out, please don't put it back on the shelf. Just leave it on a table, and library staff will re-shelve it.
