Records can be found in the archival collections Boston College athletic photographs, and Boston College athletic programs. Photographs include players and coaches, teams, and game-day photographs. Athletic programs include annual media guides, and individual game programs. Both collections can be requested at the Burns Library, but many athletic photographs are also online.

Student publications Stylus (online 1883-1922) and The Heights (1919-2015) cover sports. They can be found online at newspapers.bc.edu.

The yearbook, Sub Turri, includes athletics. Volumes from 1913 (when it began publication) through 2009 are online through the Internet Archive.

BC’s early football and hockey history is recorded in the book Athletics at Boston College (Hasenfus, 1943).

The Boston College Athletics Department includes “history & traditions” in the “fan” section within its football team website.

There is no film or video of athletics available to researchers in the Boston College Archives.
