The Business, Data/GIS workstations are in O'Neill Library on the third (main) floor adjacent to the rear glass wall of the atrium. They are outfitted with specialized data sources and software for business, health, mathematics, geography, and related fields. Most of these resources are tightly controlled by licensing restrictions, and are only available to current BC students, faculty, and staff:

  • AHA Annual Survey Database
  • ArcGIS
  • Bloomberg
  • Capital IQ
  • Datastream
  • Google Earth
  • Lisrel
  • MATLAB*
  • Tick Write TickData
  • Virtual Clinical Excursions (VCE)
  • Wolfram Mathematica

ArcGIS, Google Earth, Mathematica, & MATLAB, are also available in the Digital Studio (O'Neill 205).

*Members of the BC community can also either download these apps from this Research Services page or run them from any computer with the Citrix Receiver installed. Combined with data storage on the L- drive, these virtual versions run considerably faster than desktop versions. See links below for more information.
