If you are signing up for RefWorks for the first time, just visit the login page and follow instructions there.

If you already have a RefWorks account, it's very easy to migrate all of the contents of your old account to New RefWorks. After you log in to your account, note the migration link in the upper left corner of the screen:

Just click there, create a new password, and your new account should open, and all items stored in your old account should transfer. From this point forward, you will have two RefWorks accounts: your old account, and the new account. When you export citation information from a database or the catalog, you will be given a choice to export to "legacy" (old) or "new" RefWorks. Likewise, when you sync the MS-Word plugin Write-n-Cite with your RefWorks account, it will sync with the account that is logged in. (If you're not sure which account is logged in, just log out, and when you log in, you will be asked to choose between accounts.)
