You can request journal articles through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). The procedure depends on two different situations:
A. If you have the bibliographic information and have searched for the journal title in the catalog:
Link to Interlibrary Loan. Enter your BC username and password. Fill out the online form ("Copy Request") and click "Submit Request." (You can also get to ILL through BC Libraries' homepage: Click the "Interlibrary Loan” link in the upper right corner, next to the search bar.)
B. If you have found the article in a database, there is no full-text link, and you have clicked the button and been re-directed to a page that says no copies were found:
- Click the "Find it Library" tab
- Click the "Interlibrary Loan" link
- Sign in using your BC username and password
- The form should auto-fill. Double-check that all required fields are filled out. Click "Submit."
In either case, you will get an email notification when the article arrives, usually within a few days.
