Alumni can apply to checkout physical books from the O'Neill Library, ERC and Theology and Ministry Library circulation desks. All you need is a valid photo ID. Once we confirm graduation status, you will be issued a borrowing card.
The card allows borrowing privileges at all the Boston College Libraries except for the Law Library. Alumni may borrow books for 28 days with two renewals. At the ERC alumni have borrowing privileges for 14 days with one renewal (total of 28 days permitted).
The following services are not available to alumni because they require network accounts: checking out eBooks through Overdrive, requesting recalls, and interlibrary loans.
