Hours of the different Boston College Libraries vary by location, day of the week and time of year.

O'Neill Library is open 24/5 during Fall and Spring semesters; the library opens at 9am Sundays and remains open 24 hours until 10pm Fridays.

The libraries are closed for the July 4th holiday, and Christmas and New Year's.

For several weeks leading up to exams each semester, O'Neill Library and Bapst Library's Gargan Hall are open 24/7.

During those 24/7 hours, each day from  6pm to 7am,  the following rooms in O'Neill are available for students for quiet study if not otherwise in use:

  • Conference rooms 413 and 406 (both have flat screens)
  • Classroom 211 (tablet arm chairs, subdued lighting)
  • Connors Family Learning Center (seating at round tables)
  • Classroom 307 (pc’s at each workstation)
