O'Neill Library has a collection of more than 20,000 DVDs, videos, CDs, and other multimedia items that can be borrowed by members of the Boston College community and those users with a guest borrower card (some restrictions apply). DVDs and CDs are located on the 3rd (main) floor of O'Neill Library in the Reference area. Please ask at the circulation desk for assistance locating items.
Search media titles in the catalog:
Items marked Circulation Main Desk 7 days can be borrowed by any patron with a valid BC ID for 7 days, no renewals. These are available at the Circulation Desk. Items marked Media 7 days have the same borrowing policy, and can be found on 3 shelving units behind the Reference Collection on O'Neill 3rd Floor.
Items on Course Reserve can be borrowed by any patron with a valid user BC ID for 3 hours, no renewals. Faculty who need to borrow materials for an extended period of time should email their request to: firstname.lastname@example.org or call 617-552-4466.
The Education Resource Center also circulates DVD's for two week loan. These titles are mostly nonfiction and educational in nature.
A collection of DVDs (new releases) of nearly 100 titles can be browsed in the lobby of O'Neill Library on the main (3rd) floor under the Pop Collection sign.
We also have a large and growing collection of streaming video.
