Books on Course Reserve have been placed there at the request of faculty so that they can be available for multiple students in a course. Course Reserve books can be checked out at the O'Neill Library Circulation/Reserves desk for up to two hours at a time. A valid Boston College ID is required to borrow reserve materials.

Reserve materials in the Boston College Libraries can also include book chapters and journal articles (available online with a BC username and password) as well as lecture notes, sample exams, multimedia and other materials.

All materials placed on Course Reserves or accessed through the Reserves system are solely for the non-commercial, educational use of students and researchers at Boston College.
